wont be the fuse cos its same fuse for the speedo to which then makes your car run shit cos it doesnt think its goin anywhere

Is it the lighter than doesn't work or the socket? Everyone has assumed it's the socket, where as my lighter doesn't work but the socket does. I can still plug phone charger etc into it and it works, I just haven't bothered replacing the lighter because I don't use it.
