Anybody been on Vauxhalls site for the new Astra?
Was having a nose round as you do: http://www.astra-and-action.co.uk/
Very clever site imo - the video where they have the designer talking about the car, then you can personalise it as you go along etc.
Personally think they look ace to - would own one with no hesitation!

Had a sit in one at the local dealer. A massive improvement inside - really feels like a luxury fit out, rather than the current astra which is like a single big piece of plastic.
Waiting til they bring out the 3 door, might consider one

You don't get Arden on anything but the VXR these days do you? Sure it'll appear on that still.
See flame red has been renamed now too lol. And no Ultra blue

Yeah it's Arden only on the VXR's. Power Red replaced flame red in the astras in 2006 I think, it's a 2 layered paint iirc, looks a lot deeper in colour than flame red. Flame red is still available on the corsa.

Yeh it doesn't have great sTaNcE does it Nic
I wouldn't buy one brand new, but that's good in some ways as these will hopefully have a more attractive price tag (used) at about the sort of time I want to buy a more grown up car - it's that or an Audi A3 for me now I reckon.

I think the selection of wheels is nasty, all plain and boring.

They had a red one and a silver one at the dealership I picked my car up from, had a look round the red one and it looked pretty nice Only stuck my head in the window because needed to be leaving
Big improvement over the mk5 though.
