I do, its not 100% necassary though, as its going same colour, just make sure you sand down proper, so paint can stick and you can remove all the silicone from back to black and cleaning products

Personally i plastic primed, high build primerd (to get rid of the texture), flatted back, grey primerd and then sprayed black. Seems ok.

before u spray them get a bottle of AUTO GLYM - BUMPER CARE and try that. i was amazed by the results as my arches had gone grey aswell. used the auto glym and now there pure black. tho i did need to rub it in quite hard. u sud try it tho, well worth it.

And it will last for a few weeks, then you have to use more, then buy more, or you could just paint and be done with it

I masked mine off really well, got a can of satin black and went over it really well with no priming. Works well enough.

I used Auto glym bumper black yesterday, the aerosol one. Worked a treat! One of the best I have used so far!

They looked awful until yesterday, says to leave to dry for a minute then buff the plastic up. But I just sprayed it on and left it, Look how shiney the bumper and arch is!
