One of our engineers had to go toAl Jazeera stadium in Abu Dhabi last week, heres some pics he took while there.

Stadium looks cool without a roof, doesnt seem quite right though! but then they are lucky to get 1 day of rain a year

Surely they'd want a roof for protection from the sun?! Looks like there is some roof on one side casting the shadow? Pitch does look pristine though

Yeah one side has a roof, the rich people sit that side in the shade

But then with the money they have, they would just build a new stadium if anything needs replacing
