as far as im aware lexmaul and dbilas inlets give more power lower down the rev range compared to a mantzel. which picks up from about 5k

im wondering if anyone can explain why?
does anyone have diagrams of lexmaul or dbilas inlet internals?

I think it's the design. Where the mantzel removes the long inlet tract and has an olmost straight into the engine design; the others don't remove said tract but improve the flow into the engine.

That's what I think is the difference. I may be wrong so I await to be corrected.

Dbilas is the same design as mantzel. I prefer lexmaul for general drivability, you havnt got to boot the tits off it to get the best of it.

Will make more power at a higher rpm. Need 7000+rpm to get the best from them, where-as the lexmaul will be better at low revs.

Induction kit + mantzel + 3000rpm + full throttle = jerky cough splutter engine.

Lexmaul will pull on through.
