Up In The Air - Very good film. Nice story, and Clooney was awesome. 8.5/10
Edge Of Darkness - Not too bad actually. Gibson didn't even say the word 'Jew' either. 7/10
Taken - Awesome and perfect length too. Neeson was 9/10
District 9 - Pile of shit. The first hour was fucking boring and it just never got going. And the word 'prawn' has now lost all meaning to me. 3/10

Taken was brilliant.
I didn't mind District 9 but most people didn't like it, I think it had been advertised as more of an action film which it wasn't.
Need to watch the other 2.

district 9 - 4/5 Empire and 8.3 on IMDB thus your film review skills are poor tbh. its grossed over $200 million with a budget of only £30 million.
Agree with the rest though

Avatar is the biggest film of all time and it's crap, reviews aren't definitive.

Nath did you have the english subtitles on your District 9?
I watched one pirate copy that didn't have subtitles, so you couldn't understand what the aliens were saying (which was half the humour).

I watched Extract last week, it's fairly good if you like a bit of dark humour.

Empire can SMB. Like John says RE: Avatar.
Titanic is the biggest grossing film of all time. Is it the best? No.

Taken is such a good film, completely ridiculous but a great watch. I remember when it came out papers saying it was shite but its defo worth a watch.

I thought Taken was awesome. And it was made good by the fact Neeson's character had a background in that stuff. If he had been a random bloke and managed all that shit it'd be stupid.

Do you need someone else to tell you what movies are good because you are incapable of making your own decision?

Yup. Still disliked it. I just thought it was lame and not very exciting.

Up In The Air is really good. It's not the most action packed film ever, but it's a nice story and is really well told.
