So, all the car choices were boring cars apparently, and I should live a little. But going by my criteria, I struggle to find anything else.
So, the amended criteria is.
Sub 50,000 miles.
£4k to £5k.
Reasonable on fuel.
Reasonable on insurance.
Newer than 2000-W.

Pretty much - ideally an Astra/Focus sized car though.
I suggested that a 1.4 SRi but apparently they're boring.
I fail to see how any of the cars posted can be had for the money and conditions I said.

Basically something that is cheap to run, won't cause me problems, won't cost me the earth on a monthly basis and something that will sit at 70mph-80mph no problem, and will get there reasonably quick.
