well im not the best at all this
but i think that a nova is going to cost alot more
as the shell with most likely be rusted to death
so id say corsa myself

I cant see why? There is very little difference between both cars.
Both handle like a bag of wank with a heavy engine.

depends what coil overs you get..the cheap shitters on ebay are terrible.. A decent set of AVO's with matched coils are brilliant.

corsa is cheaper, you can pic one of the last of the 'b' shells up for few hundred quid.
hanlding wise corsas have a larger wheel base than the nova, so should handle alot better if set up properly and not by shite gaymax suspension.

Avos were awfull on my nova.
Personally id go with the nova, just because i prefer them. But thinking logically i would go with a corsa. There cheaper and easier to pick up, and are more likely to be in better condition. They are also a lot stronger than a nova shell.

Get a good Corsa Sport on an X plate for 1k these days, shouldn't be rusty and won't need welding.
Nova if you fancy a full on project though.

corsa shell is stronger to start with. As ojc says nova will be full on project of which most the panels cannot be purchased new any more from vauxhall. Engine sits further from rad in corsa so from experience they run a lot cooler in a corsa. Plus 6 speed mount is bolt on part for corsa. Need to weld bracket to chassis leg for nova. Corsa newer. Good condition corsa will be cheaper compared to an equal condition nova. Id prefer a nova. Just better lookin car.

You can still get all the Nova panels from Europe, that's now Wilson rebuilt his one.
But it's a long drawn out process and I think a Corsa can be made to look just as good as a Nova these days. Only needs a set of Speedlines and some big brakes decent buckets and a nice subtle exhaust.

ah nice didnt know could still get them. My mate who has thread on mig took ages to get some of his. Some of last chassis legs etc. Plus need to stitch weld a nova as it will pull apart whereas corsa is fine just as it is. Personally prefer look of nova as just dont see many any more. Actually regret scrapping nova shell i had turbo engine in before corsa.

Very true. Id rather have the nova just because there cooler and rarer but rinding a good condition corsa as a base is gona be a lots easier then finding a nova.
