I've noticed quite a few people just take the ABS system out?

Is it worth it? I mean, what advantages have you really got from doing this?

Can't comment on the car specifically but I don't see why you would want to take out a safety feature that could be the difference between stopping or hitting someone up the arse

hmmm, but the sports at a later date dnt come with ABS? lol, i have the same view as you but the previous owner of my GSi has cut the ABS sensors off, and on the drivers side hub there is no bracket for the ABS sensor to sit in.....

Anybody know if its meant to be a plastic bracket as the passenger side has a metal bracket cast onto the hub...?

Is your passenger side bracket which holds the ABS metal and cast to the hub? I hope its a plastic bracket for mine, then its an easy fix!

after nearly having a crash in my old Corsa B gsi i pulled out the fuse and after that trusted the car alot more. It cut in for no reason increasing the braking distance
