Got my Clio 182's V5 through and downloaded the form to send off to get the plaes swopped.

Stupid question, but it mentions you have to include the MOTs with both V5s. Is a copy acceptable? I dont fancy getting a producer from the fuzz and not having an MOT.

Anybody know?

What's the likelyhood you're gonna get pulled? Seems like you're just being para to me. I sent the originals when I did mine. The coppers can check the MOT on the PNC now anyway can't they? It's only if they were being dicks and gave you a producer surely?

Unless you're transferring it from the M3 to the clio.
I just swapped mine from the corsa to astra and it took 5 days to come back

Oh
I just thought it would be the same.
Losing the documents would be a proper ball ache though.

Not at all. Clio costs fuck all to run, and is more of a hoot to drive tbh.

Got to move out one day

im allowed to be paranoid! I got a producer and subsequently taken to court and charged with driving with no insurance because the useless fucking Popo "lost" my record of me handing valid documents in the next day after recieving t. Took legal advice a million phonecalls and emails etc. To get a wet fucking apology from the station cheif.

Fucking tards. I wouldnt trust them as far as i could throw them!

Bit of a one off special case that isn't it.

Then here's me getting a producer, never showing up and not hearing a thing.

Why not just have two cars? One that costs naff all to run and the M3? Surely if you can afford the M3 you can buy some little low tax, high mpg shoe box to drive to work
