Oh good lord, I've shot my load, twice, and the thirds "cumming" boom boom.
To compete is WSB (world superbike), you have to have a certain amount of road going models for homoglomation. They have to be approved by the FIA.
A few years ago, the legend that is Carl Fogerty, ran a WSB team called Foggy Petronas. Petronias being the major company in asia (i.e Petronas towers). The team collapsed due to poor results, and the road going bikes were presumed to have been sent to Singapore to the sole Petronas dealer and destroyed as Petronas were so embarrassed about the project being a huge flop in racing (came 21st, doh!). They actually only sold 2 bikes in Singapore at £31,000 each.
They have ALL been found in a warehouse in Essex. 75 bikes currently valued at £2million.
They are triples (3 cyclinders), which instantly gives me the horn given my bike with around 115-120bhp. The actual value of each bike hasn't been officially set yet, nor have the bikes futures, but f**K me they were hot a few years ago, and although they would get oblitorated by a 1000cc bike today (just like mine), they look, and sound absolutly stunning. I think they suffered with the same problem as Benelli. Entered when the WSB was a 750cc class (for IL4, 100cc for twins), so would have been competitive, but that season the bikes went up to 1000cc for IL4 and the triples got oblitorated).
Horn, major, load shot, all over the place.........
And the actual race bike (ran about 185bhp)
I've actually got a video of the race bike on the GP circuit at Brands come flying past. IL4 high revving NEOWWWN NEOOWWNNN NEEEEOOWWWWN, then the triple BWRAAAHHHWWOOOOOOO
Never heard a triple, go look at my youtube page, user D4MO B
Excitable giggles (to myself probably ) over. I WANT WANT WANT one.....

i was working with these chaps developing tyre warmers with them at one stage, they sent me a used one as well as the CPU unit to control them (which i had to send back) still got the actual tyre heater device in the garage but they went bust shortly after i submitted them the results so who knows where that research went

Even Foggy didn't know what happened to them.
And he ran the project
Its in MCN, which im always dubious of, but the picutres of all the bikes are in there.
Essex, anyone fancy a ram raid? Might be difficult to sell them though (besides, i'd keep 5. 1 to ride on the road, 2 for the track, and 3 bikes for parts and repairs when it breaks down )

Awesome, they did sound very good, they used to split lots of flames out of the rear aswell iirc
I love the story that they've 'been found' in a warehouse as in no-one knew where they were

i was numbering them,
1) Roadbike
2) Trackbike
3) 3x bikes for spare.
my bad, divvy Damien
errrrrrr, can't get on youtube at work.
Type in Benelli Tornado in the search, theres not too many videos, my username will be under a few of them.
Ryzer, the white bits only one one side at the front (also see the white bit at the tail section) The real road going ones are like the last pic of them in a garage, all green on one side, white bit on the other. Thats becuase the track bikes had the racing number over the white bits (hence white on the tail unit also).

Best way to describe it is it's like an office chair. So you can drop the seat for going down hill to get it out the way.

You'd be surprised Kev. Pal of mine put together just over 5k's worth of a DH bike about eleven years ago. It was something else. The best of everything and built around a rainbow coloured, square section Giant frame. We all agreed it looked like a Trials motor cycle minus the engine.
It had a full sized, upside down, triple clamp set-up on the front and the tires were the same size as dirt bike items. Quite literally, awesome.

bloody pushbikes . £4.5k on a pushbike You've have to be mad for sure to spend that much on something like that.
Im gutted, somehow i've lost the WSB folder off my PC when I rebuilt it, even though i've got every other folder I've got the pictures still on my fotki site, but lost the video clips on my PC, so got to re-save my pictures from my site, gutted.. The pics I had on the day of the bikes..
Warm up lap
Proper gutted, I will carry on searching, but the backup drive I put everything on doesn't seem to have the folder
This is my youtube page.
