Just a quickie really...

Got a few things fixed on my car as it had alot of engine issues inc ECU, wiring and couple other things. Bills at £1150.

Can i ask for a test drive before paying? is that within my rights? Or do you have to pay first? I would be willing to take the boss in with me.... Have you ever asked for a test drive? Im just not fully convinced its fixed and would prefer to see with my own eyes before shedding so much wonger.

Your well within your rights to mate, it may be better to take the mechanic out with you who has been working on the car, that way if there is still any issues you can give him a better idea by being able to show him exactly what conditions the faults are happening

if we do a test drive before payment we always have someone go with them just incase the customer doesnt come back...

Man that's a big bill. Definately ask them to come with you as a passenger while you try it out.

It's probably in your interest for someone from the garage to come with you on the test in case something isn't working, then they'll be there to see it

Grey im afraid, wanted white but they were all tad pricey and it was a cat d in salvage.
