I know your all thinking its a "how much for someone to fit an XE for me" bit different

Later in the year, will be buying another Corsa B for an XE conversion, and am wondering how much the parts etc will cost. Engine fitting/wiring etc not a problem, just parts.

Obvioulsy ill need:
Conversion kit - £?
Shafts - £?
New suspension - £?
Brakes - £?

What other things, will i need a new rad? Hose? Do i mate part of a C20XE exhaust to a Corsa one, or get one custom?

May be a long project wanted it for PVS, but im on holiday so will miss it, so PVS 2011 it shall be

Thanks

Andy 2nd hand you could get alot of this stuff rather cheap. Or if smart for example, you can just use GSI shafts, they're fine.
Suspension gsmack, or gaz? big difference in price.
brakes again, do you want major upgrade, v6, 2ltr?
there isn;t a straight forward answer

I know there isnt a stright forward answer Kev, brakes, 2.0 will be fine, susp, coilies, but cheap ones, maybe £250ish. Just need to know basics, do i need new rad, pipes etc, what to do about exhaust. Cheers.

go to a scrappy, rape a couple of cavys, calibra's. Get the RARB, brakes etc. Prob cost you £40 bucks.
Coilovers, ebay or i'd personally wait for a good priced 2nd hand set on here, cause cheap shit with an xe is ballocks. i had gmax and it sucked balls.
Shafts from a gsi, or get equal lengths offa cavy/calibra..just as cheap as getting conversion ones.
Std rad is fine, you can buy conversion hoses, sure theres a few on sale here, but once the engines in, you can use pipes offa 2nd hand cars from scrappy, tis not to hard.
exhaust if you dont wanna buy a full system, alot of people use catback 1.6 system, then get a flexy or someone who's alright with that sorta stuff to attach it to the std 4-2-1 on an xe.
