Depo make a black version:



Not the best pic, but basically the chrome is painted black - no DIY jobby.

They're becoming quite hard to get hold of now though so becoming quite pricey to buy!

really? i think mine were 50 delivered brand new off ebay.

overpriced altho they have stopped selling them on ebay so they are harder to get hold of i got mine off ebay a few years ago and they were £50

Not actually worth much more either IMO.

I wouldn't have paid any more than that for a set either.

Yeh people are sticking stupid prices on them now as they are rare.

iirc valeo or depo standard lights (one's easier to split than the other) can be split in an oven and the chrome sprayed black, then resealed. Cheaper that way then obviously

Its the Lucas headlights that are easy to split. The glue on the Valeo ones would withstand a nuclear bomb!
