Yeah there's no point even trying because some cop that gets a hard-on at their measly amount of power they think they have over the public when really they are paid for by the likes of me to 'serve & protect' will have me over the side of the road, probably performing an illegal manoeuvre in heavy traffic/bad conditions, ignoring the old lady over the other side of the road thats just had her purse nicked because im an easy target!!

I'm sure that in the US, the plates also double as a tax disk...

They have speed cameras, but not like our system of fixed cameras.
They will have a cop with a radar, and if your speeding, they will simply jump in their car, pull you over and give you a ticket.
Simplez, but obviously doesn't raise enough revenue for the government over there. Mosterists are done for actual speeding instead of a way to pay for some MP's 5th house or 10th holiday of the year (or to clean their moat).

Only in Florida you don't need a front number plate, or so I was told be a yank. And the plate has the tags on which is their version of a tax disc.
Edit: Corrected, it seems I was told wrong, taken from wiki
In the United States, 19 states do not require an official front license plate, these states being Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia and the territories Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands. In Nevada, front plates are optional if the vehicle was not designed for a front plate and the manufacturer did not provide an add-on bracket or other means of displaying the front plate.[5] In Canada, 9 of the 13 provinces and territories do not require an official front plate, including the Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Québec, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.

They also use the same software we have in this country for ANPR/Avergae speed camera's on the rear plates, however have a slight database change, in which contains the stacked info regarding tax etc, insurance from the county insurance db, and state db.
Ryzer, the US have special camera's that don't require retroreflective plates, similar to what is coming out in this country now to battle Carbon Plates IIRC the sidewinder/cobra camera combo has been released throughout most of florida. ( And if you live anywhere built up you will have/should have seen cobra camera's )

Alfas have to be the cars that would benefit the most from no front numberplate.

Im over in the Us right now and its so weird every time a car is sold from a dealership the plates are removed. they get something called a temporary tag.
