Well I bought the PS3 on the day it came out, and I thought with one of their updates they do every so often they enabled it to rumble, but it doesn't. Do I need to do something in the options for it to work ?

Six Axis came with the PS3 originally which don't vibrate.

Or are you saying you've bought a new controller which you can't get to vibrate?

If on the back next to the red lights it says Sixaxis, then it has motion sensitivity. If it says Dualshock then it has vibration. If it says both then it has both.

It's "controller" btw
