As title, how, where and what do I need to do.

Car's virtually stripped, just a shell and remains of the engine; no doors/boot lid/interior/wings/fuel tank etc etc.

I can get it to a scrap yard on a traielr but apparently I can't take it to just any scrap yard, I have to take it to an ELV ATP

What about the other way round?... I've got a V5 for an old nova that I scrapped... Couldn't find it at the time but a mate of a mate took it away for me. It was totally stripped and the shell was fucked.. we cut the numbers up etc so it wouldn't appear again on the road.

What should I do with the v5?

box 17? Apparently, if you tick that and send it back to the DVLA it notifies them that YOU have undertaken the destruction of the car

I took mine today, they took ID and vehicle regs in the office but also said I need to notify the DVLA of it. I know some ask to see the V5 before taking the car off you.

Regarding informing them, there's a tick box on the form but you can also notify them in writing with a normal letter stating the condition of the car and the date that this took effect.
