anyone ever been to Cuba before?
always wanted to go, and want to go this summer with the gf, but dont no where to start looking!

I went to Cuba a few years ago with my parents. Cant remember the place of where we stayed but a trip to Havana is a must; beleive they do internal flights there fairly cheap.
Food was pretty shit but it's an eye opening country. Thousands of old American cars and cheap rum

We're going in April, doesn't help you much at the moment though, sorry.
Going to Veradero, a more touristy bit, 2 hours drive to Havana I think.

got married there in 2007, very nice we stayed in the string of islands called the cayo's, very nice friendly people but very poor living etc. cost us about £900 each for 2 weeks all inclusive
