A woman has just phoned up and before I had chance to finish saying hello she said our automated system was rubbish, we're a waste of time as we can't help her (Even though she hadn't even asked yet!) 10p a minute is too much, she wanted the stores direct number which we can't give out (I told her this 3 times!)
Eventually I lost my rag and and spoke over the top of her raising my voice that I can't give her the number as we take all the calls.
She said I was very rude
I said, well you started it

I work in a nightclub so it tends to happen several times in a night, drunken belligerence + me and my temper = lots of shouting and finger pointing.

i used to work in the cafe at windsor leisure pool.
i'd lose it all the time.
the best was when the supervisor let two people go on a break and then disappeared herself.
i was left alone in the kitchen to cook and clean the tables. it suddenly got really busy and i couldn't do it all myself.
so i threw baked beans all over the walls and floors and walked out. got half way to maidenhead and then decided to return.
when i got back everything was cleaned and all the orders had gone out. the supervisor said "are you ok?"
then i carried on cooking.

I'm sure they don't ring up other companies doing the same!
Same as the customers expecting full refunds because they don't like the game. Imagine taking a car back to dealer expecting a full refund as you just don't like it

I have once yes.
She was drunk, she complained to my manager about me who took em aside and had a word.
So I called the police on her as she drove out the car park!

When i used to work at EB/Game they did the 10 days no fuss returns policy which was really good as it covered us and saved a lot of grief but they dont do it now do they?

I used to go there every weekend when I was young for football or badminton and then wind the cafe staff up afterwards

the kids would ask us to fill up their polystyrene cups.... but they'd of put a hole in the bottom of them so the water would go all over the place.
we'd run out and kick them in the shins

when i worked for sky, this fella called up demanding to know what this huge bill was..
and he was a right cunt about it, after looking at his bill i saw it had loads of porn on it, about £50's worth..
he explained that it may of been his son watching box office movies..
and i said (id lost my temper by now with the guys attitude) its all gay porn, and since its not you who has watched it, that means your son is a fucking puff and you probably aught to talk to him about it..
well thats it.. he went MENTAL! (as you would expect) demanding he speaks to a manager etc etc
i just told him to have a nice day and hung up.

I can normally keep my cool well when we get angry customers, most of them have a genuine reason to be annoyed so I tend to just agree with alot of things they say and it works out.
Worse one I had was some old guy, came in rather pee'd off, started looking at Sat Nav's and then asked the till girl he wanted some help with it, and just because she came over to get me that was all the reason to kick off about it.
Started kicking off big time..
"I want to f***in look at it first, your forcing me to buy it, this is s***"
Then pointed at the till girl who was 17 at the time, known to have a lack of confidence in confrontation and this did make her upset.
"She is a useless peice of s***, your trying both to scam me, your all the same"
I calmly said, "Look sir, she only came over to grab me as Im the guy who can give you all the advice you need where as she can't"
He then replied with this is f***in useless, too which i replied there was no need for the swearing, and if he could just calm down I can help him with what he wanted to know.
Again he just kicked off, started banging on the desk and started swearing and then threatened to "take this outside"
The till girl was almost in tears at this point, she had only just started a couple of weeks ago
I knew I wasnt going to resolve this so i raised my voice slightly and said "Look mate, we ain't a bunch of slaves that you can abuse when you like, so if I was you I would just f*** off, must think you're the big man for upsetting a 17 year old girl, well done I hope your proud, people like you disgust me, if you really want to take this outside then I finish at 8"
With that he walked off and I never did see him again
