Go on, how is it generic?

I see a new body shape, development of the exisitng brand design language, not to mention the new light design technology and little touches such as the radiator grille that moves and varies intake flow to optimise aerodynamics.

But yes, you're right, it's just like every other car out there.

It's not a bad thing that it looks like those two cars though. I wouldn't say that makes it "generic". At the end of the day, if you're designing a car for the masses then you need to keep within some fairly safe guidelines.

The "average" person doesn't generally notice good design anyway, it's far easier to spot something that's badly styled than something that's been painstakingly agonised over. In general, if there are no bad comments you've done a good job

Looks quite nice that, I dont like the R8 personally, I always think it looks a bit awquard. Spyder looks fantastic though.
