This is going to sound really funny but a couple of girls I know have openly asked me to make them pregnant... At first I thought they were joking but they are being deadly serious! I'd love to have some kids but relationships do my head in so it seems like a good way of sewing my seed so to speak but I'm concerned about CSA etc. getting involved so what are the legalities on "sperm donation" is there a way I can give them what they want but not be financially responsible (legally anyway) for the children.. I'd happilly support them but I wouldnt ever want to be held hostage by any twisted government angency.
Any legal boffins out there?

You'd have the same legal responsibilities as a normal father does tbh.
Personally I wouldnt even get involved in that sort of shite, its bound to go wrong. It may be a nice way for you and your fella to have some kids though.

you will just be classed as the father and will cop for all the legal responsibilities that go with it.

Normal 'anonymous' sperm donors arent though.. so there must be an official route that can be taken.

Actually I think there have been cases where people have found out who the donor was and they have then become responsible for the child.

I dont mind being 'responsible' but I never want to be held hostage.

Its the same thing tbh, as responsible means paying up for the kids, if you dont or cant then you're screwed.

this is an all round bad idea. it's bad enough getting your girlfriend pregnant and then splitting up, but to get a girl intentionally pregnant and expect you wouldn't get shafted at some point down the line is daft. you have to think of the kid also. best just telling them to forget it.

The only way to do it anonymously without legal responsibilities would be to go through a proper clinic, but then they wouldn't be able to choose yours, otherwise you will be responsible. But as said I have heard of cases where even through an anonymous clinic the fathers have been found
