im only 20 but 3 years ncb and have seen a few people on here with VXRs who do you insure them with ?

My quotes were £1800 at 21, 0 NCB, at fault crash, £500 saving is nothing really considering 4 years without crashing, I'd be pissed

Agreed, Insurance is all about money making. I changed from my group 15 Cooper S to a group 12 Astra CDTi and the premium didnt change, when i questioned it they said i was already paying their minimum premium for a driver of my age(23). Bollocks.

24 5yrs ncb Corsa vxr £1002 £0 excess or £900 £250 ncb for a full year FC.

Been with elephant since i started driving, lowest offer from someone else was £1980 and up to £3000. only 12 out of 50 would insure me

My mates insurance on his bike just went from £600 to £7200, something tells me the insurance company dont want to insure bikes anymore

Just got a quote on a CTR for £1004 fc, same price for a corsa arctic vxr

i had my focus st insured at 20 (2 years ncb though) and couldn't get any lower than £2200.

when you turn 21 and get 3 ncb it drops shit loads.

Best I've found when searching last week was direct line.

£1200 - 22 with 5 ncb (protected) on a 56 astra vxr

but did you pay a deposit of what 2 months would be so you would have actually paid for 12 month.
