A mate has a mondeo x reg 2.0 hes going to sell


fancy's something similar size

must be reliable as poss

cheapish to run


any ideas? links would be good too

Probably a Mondeo or Vectra then When you've only got £1k you dont get much choice unfortunatley...why is he selling his current car?

edit - anything ther local taxi drivers use, these are comfy, cheap to run and repair and go forever

I maybe biased here but an Omega takes some beating for car for the money.
My MV6 on a run sitting around 90 ish will give 28-29 mpg
And they are underestimated me thinks in the speed section, catch plenty of people out

What insurance groups are those omegas though? Always see them dirt cheap with minor things wrong.

Not sure but think group 15.
I pay £289 full comp for an MV6
I have all the parts and now how so would be able to help ya
