I have a choice if two... Yamaha DSP A1 or Yamaha AX759SE
thoughts?
I'm thinkin as the new 759 doesn't have HDMI I'm
better to go A1 for now upgrade something else when I have the money?

I'd stick with the A1. I had a Yahama 761 w/HDMI and it sounded awful.
Swapped it out for an Arcam AVR350, lost the ability to do LPCM in the process, but it sounds a million times better. People worry too much about the 'HD' codecs and paper specifications...

I decided to stick with the A1, indeed and bought the Panasonic DMPBD80 Multi Region as you can see from the details....
Has the analouge outputs so I wont lose nout

I have Toshiba 46" 1080p, Mission 753 left and right speakers, mission 75c center, 73AS active twin 10" sub and matching surround and effects speakers. 7.1 now all I need to complete on the house im trying to buy and Im a happy boy!
