Bit of a shitty game but the new Brazil kit is awesome, bit of a 98 throwback

Nice to see Nilmar becoming a bit of a permanent figure in the team and Carlos Eduardo has just come on, great little prospect.

Just watched the first 70mins or so of this in the pub, looked a bit of a shitty game tbh.

Nice to see Adriano in there, would love to sign him, really really amazing player on his game.

I think Adriano will fuck things up pretty soon, bound to happen tbh.

But having said that, on his day and when he is super fit, he can be brilliant.

I honestly think on his day, when he was in his prime, he was one of the best forwards I have ever seen.

Seemed to have everything, pace, power, amazing shot, a footballing brain...just not one that could control himself!

Yes, he was the perfect number 9 to replace the authentic Ronaldo, big strong bulky battering ram, but had everything else with it, pace, skill, finishing and great in the air.

I do think we've moved on now though, Luis Fabiano and Nilmar, for me they're the future.

Its a shame he lost it mentally, could of gone down as one of the all time greats.

Ive never taken to a foreign player like that really, never wanted one to join us so, much as I did him.

Yeah, great shame, I doub he'll ever recover his old self, but he could still be around for a long time yet and still do good things, reminds me a bit of Michael Owen, this wonderkid who bust onto the scene, created a few magic moments and then spiralled downhill and never regained that greatness.

If you were anything like a Liverpool supporter I used to work with, then you used to cry yourself to sleep over him.

TBH I was never the biggest Owen fan (my Dad can vouch for this as I used to slate him at the match!) - he was always country before club and I didnt like that.
