Visiting some customers up north and using my car for it. Getting 48p per mile from work so fingers crossed it actually makes me a few pennies
going from Heathrow to Sheffield, then to Leeds, Hull and back down to Heathrow. Up north for 2 days and all up will be 513miles
works out to £246
Cant wait to get some proper miles on the car, its just gone over 7k now

You'll be driving the VXR8? Like hell you'll stick the the limit on some sections though
I'd say 2.5 tanks.

some speed limits might be slightly stretched..
have managed on motorways to get roughly 300-340 miles out of a tank

get a shot of a smaller engine'd car, that way petrol or the diesel will be cheaper, making you more money?

Dont have access to any other cars.. Might be able to take sisters car which is a 1.8 Petrol but i doubt she will want 500+ miles on it

They're strange though because even when near empty filling up only cost 50 odd so there is a lot in reserve! some people have driven 50-100 miles after the needle hit bottom

Yeah £70 is not bad tbh. My cousin's 740i cost over a 100 to fill and that was during the short spell petrol dropped for a little while!
Also at 48p a mile thats not going to go far if you end up doing combined driving

Yeah, but a 306 Diesel doesn't piss fuel up the wall quite like a 6.2 V8...
Add together lots of £70 stops and it becomes quite painful...
