Hi,
Generally looking for a bit of information and help.Got a private number plate which my girlfriend is wishing to sell however never done it before and wondering if anyone has had experience in selling one? How did you go about it?
I see there are companies around who offer free valuations - But wondered what the better option is to go via a larger name or advertise privately.
Help much appreciated

Get it on a retention cert if selling private or can swop the name of the owner (nominee) with V317 form
regtransfers valued mine at £1200 but it was advertised for £1500, was all free
but selling private maybe better

my brother has a private plate which ive gave him money for
its coming off his car this week
he has a retention form
so what does he fill out, does he fill in himself as the grantee and me as the nomine or what
