has anyone had any experince with these cheaper types off ebay, such as the jamex ones im not looking to use them for track use just day to day driving, there are even cheaper options but i cannot see how using somthing as cheap as them will even work let alone last at least a year

the cheap jamex dont have adjustable damping and the cheaper kits arent as stiff as big name makes

wouldnt bother with the cheapest ones as they will be shit. should be orite with jamex but if you have got a bit extra to spend get 'fk automotive highsport' coilovers had them on my old 1600 sport and they were amazin! handled great without being too stiff. cost about 300

yeh if you can afford it, defiantely go for the slghtly more expensive as they'll do a better job. mine are only on a 1.2 so i really dont care

How come on most if not all of the even cheaper options than the jamex they have adjustable dampers but the jamex are more expensive and they dont have them? anyone shed any light on this?

Cheap coilovers will give a realy harsh ride and with the roads by us mate not the best idea.

But I use 2 have just 60mm springs and that was bad but I could live with it to be honest, just don't see the reason to spend £300+ on coilovers when it won't even be for track use

Thanks monster, they would be perfect the only thing what puts ne off is the rear only lowers 35mm I was looking for around 50/60 drop

are they the £266 ones? that state the rear is only 35mm but it goes til 100mm?

ahhh going have to wait til end of the month then as i could have pushed for the £266 but the £305 ive got wait til payday
