Author lowering - quick Q

I know the front spring only fit one way up, but with the rear springs both ends look the same
(one end is possibly very slightly flatter) does it matter which way up I put them ?

yes, or they wont sit in their seta things correctly, got any writing on them, as this should be the normal way up
