How much power and what mods would it take for it to beat a 2.0 16v corsa ? ? ?

Going on a standerd c20xe.

They have to be pretty tuned wont they ?

its not for a coversion , basically had a bit of a do in my nova last nite which is a 2.0 16v, and there was this corsa, i fort it was a redtop becuase i could overtake him , i found out today its a 1.6 16v which has had a bit done to it . bareing in mind i had weight in the car and he overtook me then i went after him , i mean this is on a bypass going fro m like 20mph to about 70- 80 tops,

A powerbox/exhaust/higher rev limit 1.6 16v corsa should stick on a 2.0 16v rear end up to about 70-80mph where the extra 2.0 power and torque will pull it clear.

it make the air flow better i think , big improvement on the performance of a 1.6

It's a less restrictive top inlet manifold.

Sam, the old 1.6 you bought off me sat side by side with my mates Tigra 2.0, up till about 80ish, his was RR'd at 158bhp, its the one Jimmy2.1 now owns.

My old X16XE was running around 130bhp anb weighed 887kg and I couldn't keep with them for shit
