I like Mother earth, shes quite cool. Epic storms, weather cycles, millions of years of history, a tiny tiny tiny blip in the rather large universe.
Share me some facts that you know about our planet that you think are quite interesting. Pictures, facts, information, teach me something new about our planet.
Today I learned we have quite a few very large impact crators. I was only aware of the Chicxulub one in Mexico which is quite hard to spot on Google earth. But reading this BBC page today it seems there are a few. A quick maps.google did indeed prove there are some rather large circular former holes in our planet.

I've got that on a large single image, ites about 5mb. Superb slide to show how tiny and pathetic we really are in the grand scheme of things.
Theres a superb set of programs on BB2 about 7pm (well last 2 nights anyway), and they are excellent, worth a watch!!!

Daimo sold my house 3 years ago, paid all my debts off 2 years ago am single, no ties to anything really.
I dont need to tell you how boring and unfufilling IT is as you know already.
Im a Prince 2 certified practioner and have some proj management experience in Industy now so the idea is to get the Ecology degree with a view to eventually project managing conservation efforts.
The course im going on has an option to spend a year at a uni in New Zeland or the states also. I might go for a masters as well and have volunteered for a wildlife trust to start getting some relevent work experience.
The Africa thing was the white Lions project. Im hoping I`ll be able to work all over the world. It certainly doesnt have the earning potential of my current career but the way I see it the more money you earn the more sh1t you buy that you actually dont need in life.

That image from the moon is amazing, would be the weirdest feeling in the world looking back to that.
