Looking to go to blackpool for 1-2 nights for my birthday weekend.
Who knows their way around? I need a hotel/B&B @ Low price [relative]; and it needs to be near the lcubs but have no idea what I am looking for when looking at maps and such.
Anyone got any recommendations?
All genuine help appreciated.

My recommendation is don't go to Blackpool, its the Jerermy Kyle cast everywhere on a night out. Manchester, Leeds etc are a lot better

This is the best advice. Blackpool is an absolute shite hole.

I think ours was £35 a night or something similar just a walk down from the clubs, had secure parking at the end of the street.

we go to blackpool every year and we book through hostelbookers.com - they do all the hotels in Blackpool big rooms little rooms etc (we have 6 in a room)
You'd be looking to stay around central pier as this way you can head to the front turn right and go to the pubs this way and also left to the pubs that way.

Yeah central is best as you're close to everything pub wise - if you're wanting to stop out the way but be close to the pleasure beach stop down by the south pier
North pier is a little way out as well but if you find a decent hotel inbetween the central and north pier then you're sorted

I've been half a dozen times. We usually just wander around and go in where ever takes our fancy, they're all trashy places at the end of the day! Crap in October when we usually go though
