Yeah its a left hand drive unfortunately... Was previously owned by the chairman of Dodge Viper Owners Club USA.
Midlife crisis began with the corvette he had, there are pictures on here of it somewhere...
He has taken two 20l jerry cans to fill it up. Its also had rubbish American fuel sitting in it for 5 months going no where.
Old thread found, and jsut as an update on this it cost 9k in shipping and import tax to get the dodge here

I will probably get to sit in it, that is as far as it goes. He does take his cars to all the shows he can though which is cool.
You will be shocked Rich, apparently there is so much dust on it!

Pressure wash the car several times to rid as much of that dust as you can before washing it - it'll be on there pretty thick after being sat for that long!

Do you know if it was containerised or bought over as a POV (Privately Owned Vehicle) on a car carrier? and which port has it arrived in to?
I used to drive for ABP loading and unloading the new and private vehicles that were bought into and out of Southampton. I ask because most shipping companies put POVs on the top or open deck where they're exposed to the weather unlike new cars which go inside. It might not be only dust covered but salt covered too - we used to see some cars come in from Japan in a real mess after sitting outside on a deck for a month or so.

Most people bringing cars from America drive them to Cananda and ship them from there.

yeah that is including shipping which i thin was about a thousand or so to have it shipped on its own, then all the tax is a % of the value isn't it?
The noise and the looks you got in the corvette were epic won so many classic car shows!
