depends, some use the fuels that the car releases, i believe the demo car at Xtreme in harlow uses a actual continer of gas that gets pumped in.

Wont work on a non turbo car - not enuff fuel running into zaust to ignite.....u got 2 other choices tho, if u want one on ur corsa! (mines goin on in 2 weeks).

Basically, use a separate bottle of butane in boot. This is then released via a remote control valve, which is then ignited by a spark plug that u put further down in the zaust.

Otherwise, u use a cut off switch which switches the engine's coil off, allowin more fuel vapour to pass into the exhaust. U then have a separate coil and spark plug fitting into the back box which ignites this excess fuel vapour.

I can tell u no, that the second option (whilst bit more risky) is becomming very very popular where i live, and for some reason, the 1.2 8v corsas i have seen give an amazing effect, when compared to the Sport's that have them. Oh and flame is like the after burner on a jet plane, not just a slow fading flame.

Will get pics up of mine soon

Yes, keeping the Cat and doing that option will result in a very large explosion. Cats get extremely hot, and passing lots of unburnt fuel through it will surely detonate!
