Is this for real??

I am a member of cambridge united website/newsletter, and had an email hour or so ago saying there looking for 3700 members to buy a share each in the ground for £1000, the rental is currently 240k a year, and they will lower this by a six figure sum. Any money then made from rent each year will be shared by the 3700.

Sounds like a right old scam, any one heard more bout this?
