Ok a guy from another forum has written to number10 downing street about removal of front plates on cars being made legal, theyve aproved the petition.
so for those of you that want rid of your front plate, sign up.
for those of you that are gunna bitch and moan about it being a pointless thing blah blah blah, dont bother.

Will never happen.
They've spent millions on cameras and enforcing the correct representation of number plates, they're not about to go back on that to please some scene kids.

it would be great if this worked, but it won't.
if laws were changed by creating pertitions we would have some pretty weird laws
they wont change it without a good valid reason, i.e. old motorbikes had metal front plates, they were scrapped due to safety reasons in the occasion of a crash or hitting a pedestrian
[would be a hypocrite to say its a bad idea though, as i have my plate in the window  ]

My thoughts were instantly the same as Ian's. Removing the front plates would render all the ANPR cameras going in and out of cities useless as well as Truvello speed cameras.

I'm sure non of us are bothered, it's the government that's paid out for said cameras which would become useless if they made the decision to change this so they won't, so this is a pointless thread and a pointless petition
