following my desire to do an engine conversion in my c, ive got hold of a b to use while its off the road. its 1.2 8v and im putting a 1.6.16v in it to use as a bit of a track toy with a few mates. gonna do this then its finished i'll start on the c.
i dont need a walk through or anything, but just need to know if the wiring is plug and go and all the existing plugs match the new ecu etc, using the 1.6 engine loom ecu transponder and key chip, or will i need to wire it in the old fashioned way?
(usual disclaimer - im not selling it and buying a 1.6, it was free and a fun project)

cheers

When dezzy done my 1.2 8v - 1.6 16v it was plug & play.

Think it depends on year of the 1.2 tho.

Mine is a 1997 and the new engine came out of 1998 corsa sport.
