Bit of a random request but I need to know what components are inside a bite alarm. Nothing too complex just need stuff like, battery, speaker ect...

Its for a project at work/colege.

Any help is appreciated.

as far as i am aware it is simply the casing, runner, alarm, circuit board, LED's (most have LED lights) battery/connector, switches (volume and tone usually)

Yeah also the older ones used to have a prong that you would hook the line on, when the line tightened it would touck the prong ontop a contact, creating a circuit thus creating a sound

i had one of them from argos like 14 years ago , had like a yellow stick which u put line behind and when you got a bite it moved it. always use to get stuck so even if you got a line bite it would still bellow out until u reset it again. Pissed everyone off a right treat

Cheers for the info guys, if anybody knows whats on the Printed curcuit board that would be great. I pretty much got the modeling of the outer casing done. Need to look into whats on the PCB now so I can draw that up. If someone has a picture I could research whats on it or if someone electrically minded knows whats in it that would be great also.

Cheers again
