well its just my mom got a ticket, she wrote to them and said where she was parked she would've had to walk away from the direction she was walking to see the exclusion time for free parking. anyway they wrote back and said seeing as it was her first ticket they would write it off

i would cos the chances are you'll get away with it. just remember not to do it again. in milton keynes we've got this parking system where the premium bays right next to the city are painted red and cost 80p an hour, and permit parking is painted blue, a bit further away and costs 20p an hour if you aint got a permit. but if you've got a permit you can only park in the permit parking unless you want to pay. sounds common sense i know but i know someone who applied for a permit and thought he could park anywhere, parked in premium space and got a ticket. i explained to him the permit could only be used in the blue bays, but he still parked in the premium bays and managed to get himself 2 more tickets before he started parking in the permit spaces!! you would've thought he'd have learnt first time round.

yeah it is, but at least now if you are prepared to pay you can get a space. it used to be that all the parking right next to the city was taken up by employees, so everyone else couldn't get parked.

they've made sh1t loads of revenue from it. if i remember correctly they made about £60k in the weekend after it was launched on fines alone, not including the money spent on tickets
