I've bought a motorbike frame and I want to make sure its not got police interest before I try and register it for the road.
Does anyone know of any HPI check services that can work from a VIN number? Or any decent free ID check sites that can work from a VIN?
Cheers!

If you phone HPI you should be able to do it.
A fella I used to work with bought a bike then later tried to check it. The plate came back as a Hyundai Accent So they checked the VIN which funnily enough came back as stolen

No one wants to know, the only place I could get any info from was the company that imports them into the UK, they tell me its a valid frame number and it was imported in 2005 other than that nothing else.. DVLA used to look up chassis numbers

To fully guarantee their service, HPI usually require the reg & VIN. I don't see why they couldn't just have the VIN.
