Coming to terms with getting old(er) so looking at cars with a bit more power and comfort. These are the cars ive picked, just wondering what you would have and why.

S3 for me.
Nice inside, nice additional touches being an S3, more exclusive and you get that Audi snobbery if you were in to that kind of thin!

They're all completely different price brackets aren't they?
Still, Audi for me. Would probably hold its money far better than the other two for a start.....

ive got the exact same dilemma. the only thing is a decent s3 will cost 7k and be the most to insure. the other 2 can be had for 5k with lower insurance.
Other options for are audi tt 225 and cooper s

Insurance is the same on a CTR as the s3 for me.
Im just stuck deciding tbh, the astra is cheaper by about 1.5-2k and like poeple have said the audi will hold its money far better than the astra. The s3 is very nice but top of the price range for a decent one but its a car that id be happy to keep standard. The civic just seems a bit chavy if thats the right word, maybe if i was 20 again
I posted this to see peoples veiws as it can often make you think a different way and make the right choice.
If I get an s3 does it mean i get more e-penis points for band snobery?

Audi 8.6k
CTR 8.4k
Astra 6.8k
Just put my mum on the insurance and it dropped by £240
I dont get it, why would that drop insurance?
Tbf shes more likely to crash it

CTR is in poll position for me really. need to drive an S3 first though before i make my mind up. S3 will loose more than a ctr but less than an astra id say. EP3's are holding money quite well now as long as its pre facelift.
Id say the gsi is the best looking of the 3, but they arent realy a sports orientated drive and as im 22 and still drive like a wanker i need something i can push on through the corners a bit.

Ess free.
Gsi's are nice but I'd have the audi over it, ctr wouldn't get a look in.

Audi has power grip and the best interior. Ctr has fun factor but looks like something out of need for speed
Astra is toilet.
