I bought a longboard ages ago to muck about on, it was only a bottom end board.

I decided I would just have a go at making a longboard, I have very little clue into the complexities of making a successful board but based my design on what I have seen around and on the cheap board I bought to get me round.

The board is made from 12mm Birch Ply (which I have already noticed is probably a little too flexible with me on it but still it bears weight and I have test ridden it briefly)

The board is 1000mm long and 220mm wide.

I have 9.5" Shiner trucks bought and fitted (now removed for deck varnishing) I've also fitted Urban Dog wheels from my other board.

I'm yet to grip and varnish the deck yet but thats down for later this week/start of next week. I'm going to use a clear varnish/laquer.

The deck has no concave/convex on it due to lack of equipment to press/bend it so it shall stay straight.

I have cut some vinyl for graffics using offcuts I had lying around, they'll go on after the first varnish coat.

I took a few photos on my phone so forgive the quality, the reason its in a bag is because of the dusty/dirty environment the board was in. I'll get some better photos when I get time.
