Is there n e reason why your al tarnashing new people that are selling stuff with the same brush. Personally i dont think its a great idea, someone registers to sell something and get shit straight away. If u wanna stop it set it so the "new user" has to have a certain number of posts before he can put summit in classifieds.

I assume you have data to back up the brush tarnish comment? I do, and in the month of March to date we've had 236 signups, of which seven have been discussed in threads relating to problem trades.
Of those seven, two pairs of accounts were shared, one guy was quite happy to be questioned as he was genuine and just got more pictures and a proper listing and the other two are this guy and his duplicate username which he registered himself to reply to himself.
If you want the official line, it's thank you to every single person who watches out and reports anything which may be damaging to the community.
Anyone who is genuine won't mind being asked to clarify their intentions.

I agree, however when someone says "this user is a bit fishy", i'll do a bit of research anyone can do, look through previous posts, check they havent posted conflicting location/name/mobile etc, search an email address and username on google. I'll also check any people that back that person up, check their join date etc.
I dont have the same abilities as Ian to look at IP's etc, however after 2 or 3 minutes on google you can come to your own sensible opinion and make people aware there is a reasonable amount of suspicion, especially when postcodes wont be given, no photos etc
