How much better are 2litre brakes compared to standard corsa brakes?

I want to go for v6 brakes, but I don't think they'll fit under my 15" Corsa C wheels, unless anyone's tried it before!

They will fit under C sxi wheels. Good upgrade and easy enough to do. Pedal will feel different thats all.

Yeah, mine aren't SXI wheels, they're these ones

I don't really want to gamble on v6 brakes to find they won't fit, but then again I don't want to spent 90% of v6 brake money for 2litre ones if I can fit bigger ones.

I had advisories at the MOT for both disks and hoses, if that's ever an excuse for braided lines and bigger brakes I don't know what is!

Ah right, I don't know then. Anyone you know got some on their corsa? Just a quick swap of wheels to check then.

Dont go for V6 calipers, hold out and get turbo calipers.Slightly smaller piston so you dont get the V6 spongey-ness and longer than a week in jail pedal travel.
Pedal travel on my old Corsa with turbo calipers was non existent.Brakes were awesome.

288mm (Aka V6) should fit under 99%, if not all, 15" Vauxhall Wheels

Do you know anyone with a Corsa running 288s? Could try to fit your wheel over them

Or, even, hold your wheel up over a Vectra B 5-stud hub and see if they clear

Don't know any other Corsa people round here. I do fancy 288mm disks. I suppose I'm unlikely to lose much if I sell them on.

Should I expect a good increase in stopping power?
