Yeah. They sit in the fast lane thinking they own the road.
I'd rather have a Vogue.

For the amount of tax and fuel they will get through they kind of deserve to own the road.

Colleague at work had a regular RR for a little while whilst his Disco was getting repaired, and I loved it.
I never thought I'd like them much for the reasons Seth points out, but its such a nice place to be, was perfectly powerful and a brilliantly comfortable ride.
Not sure I'd have a RR sport as they're a bit bling, but a regular RR would do me fine

I dont look at people in them thinking their an arse.
Also most folk that drive them around here are old farmer types.
Just thought it would be a nice change from the M3 thats all.

Had a lift on a night out from my mates "wheeler dealer pikey father" in a sport, thought the interior was shite tbh... plastics were piss poor for the price tag... roomy thats about it.
Whos the rapper that has 3 of them in white all blinged up?
Personally I dont see the point of them for what 90% of people buy them for but hey its your money

I say give it a go
I think the TDV8 are being more affordable now?
I used to hate them, but after experiencing it and the whole woafting along I can see the appeal.
As long as you avoid the normal TDv6 then you cant go wrong.

Whats TDv6? I dont know one from another.
It would need to be an early one to be in price range. 05 or 55.

The TDv6 is a 2.7 and now a 3.0 I had a shot of one of these first and although it was comfy it achived the same speeds whether you floored it or rode the torque along....pretty lethargic.
TDv8 it now the onoe to buy and I think it can be had for around 30k
The SC one though was awsome only as a passenger it just felt so cool but it would hurt me living at the pumps

It would have to be the SC petrol lump but like you said you would live at the pumps.
I assume the 5.0 is only in the late models? 502bhp

One thing I will say is if you think your BMW is costly to fix/maintain. I think a RR will be another league should it go wrong...

I see where you coming from I just think stuff like that is another league really. I know some people get lucky and never have problems but I'd hate to run one without a good cushion of £ to fix things just incase.
Different car but my mates dad has a new model X5 and its been no end of trouble, luckily its got warranty but it would be thousands to have it right if it wasn't.
