I might be being silly, but I thought ibuprofen was a chemical or whatever, that's found in all/most paracetamols? including nurofen express..

Spelling maybe, but there's definitely some punctuation errors in there

I'm allergic to Ibruprofen, pain in the arse. Can only take paracetamol which is about as good as eating some smarties.

ibuprofen is ibuprofen.
express just means it gets to the source of pain faster.
or at least it's supposed to. still takes about an hour.

and noit's not found in paracetamol because paracetamol is paracetamol, not ibuprofen.

oh right, well maybe I got that wrong. But ibuprofen is still found in nurofen express and I thought ibuprofen is the main active ingredient? My point still stands

Nurofen is Ibeprofen but somehow its supposedly slighty better (). Nurofen express apparently absorbs faster therefore getting to the pain quicker.
Paracetamol does not contain ibeprofen afaik.

yes you are correct in that respect. i think whoever wrote that is retarded.
they probably think the dose in nurofen express is larger.
cocodomol or diazepam is his/her best bet

I find that no tablets like that work for me, personally. But that's probably because I can't swallow tablets whole, I have to chew them, which tastes horrible and probably somehow doesn't work as good.

The only difference between the 18p pack of own brand paracetamol and the branded stuff is the marketing, sugar coating and the caffeine that they seem to think is needed (in the branded ones).

I've always find tesco/asda cheapy ibuprofen works just as well as any variety of nurofen

You should look at the ingredients and then you'll see why.

Tescos cheapy ones works well for me, co-codamol knocks me out and makes me sleep for a few hours then i feel dizzy and sick when i wake up.
I try to go as long as i can with out pain relief though.
