Bored at work so thought I'd be nosey, what's the best competition you've ever won? Money prizes etc?

When I was 11 I sent off for some cycling shorts (when they were the craze to wear under football shorts) which were on the back of a munch bunch ice lollies pack I didn't realise but it also got entered into a draw to go to Lapland for the day on concorde and meet santa , which I won with a few other people, annoyingly I don't really remember much from it.

Won a couple a photography competitions best prize being a £300 telescope but I think that's it

Anybody else been lucky?

the odd £10er on the lottery and £1k once on it which was the most depressing thing in the world tbh as i was one number off £85k and i was like a case of one of the numbers i needed was 37 and i had 35

I've won two online poker tournaments $600 and $500 in consecutive nights. That's about as far as it goes.

I have odd wins of £100 like last night on football bets.

iirc when Euro 92 (?) was on I entered a competition to win a gold Coca Cola football on The DJ Cat show.

No idea what I did to win one these but I ended up with one, was the envy of my primary school

i used to win 100k all the time from the scratchcards you got free with newspapers, but i couldnt be bothered sending them away, lol.

i won a nintendo gameboy years ago though, the very first kind.
