my cat is 2 and used to come on heat a bit. Anyway, the other day she was on heat and my missus opened the window (we're on the 2nd floor).

so the cat jumps into the bushes below and fucked off to find a shag.
we looked for her as soon as she got out but didn't find her, anyway, it's now 4 days later and we havn't even seen her outside despite looking several times a day.

how can we get her back?

she'll be fucking her way round the neighbourhood by the sound of it.

Put a few posters up if you're bothered too much. Cats are independent anyway, she'll probably get something sorted.

If it's a ginger cat and you're in london then that moron Fern Cotton has probably cat knapped it

Is the cat insured or chipped?

If insured they can organise advertisement etc.

Or best thing to do it get most recent photo and put them up in area fella

Don't use cat-nip like I did a few years ago mind, bad idea

Incorrect.

Dogs rescue people and help the blind see.

Cats shit in other peoples gardens.

Have you tried some strong smelling food like tuna or something, Cats are food orientated and cant resist it especilly after a few days.

You can borrow my ex if you want just sit her outside with her legs open and the cat will think shes in fishville

seriously though, if you want it to come back, get some of it's used kitty litter and spread it around a bit, around the garden. Cats have better hearing and smell senses than dogs, she will smell it and be able to find her way home.
