In the haynes manual they have 1 side of the button connected to a earth and the over to the relay, i would of thought the fuse would go first, on the cable that supplies power to the relay

I would of though it would go

Battery-fuse-relay for power
Then from relay to switch, then other side of switch back to relay?
Then ground the relay and go to the starter motor.

Im cant remenber what cable goes to what pin on the relays though

Google works wonders.

Ignore all the crap about lights etc. Controlled unit, is the starter moter. Blue switch is your button.
