i've seen an offer in tesco before on listering mouthwash.
was something like £3.28 each or £3.27 for 2.
bit silly advertising for 1 when 2 is cheaper i thought.

I got duped on Asda fruit juice. The offer was to buy 3 so I thought as it was a good deal. I saved 3p in buying 3 cartons. I only needed 1.
The other one is packs of 4 tuna tins in Tesco are more expensive than buying 4 individually.

Halfords had a great offer yesterday.
Buy anything and get a bottle
of turtle wax for £1.99. Went to the till and the girl says you can have 3 bottles for £1.98
Random, but we took the 3 bottles

Theres a stupid offer like that on pimms and lemonade. Its cheaper to buy 4 individually than to get a 4 pack.

I've seen it with Weetabix where it was more expensive to buy a big pack than a load of small ones.

It's complicated why it happens but it is by no means trying to mislead people for example the irn bru one is part of the deal on all 500ml soft drinks which are usually about £1 just so happens the irn bru is subject to a lower price at the moment, (for whatever reason) however it has not been withdrawn from the 2 for £1.70 deal which is a long term offer.

Went in Sainsburys before and they had Jacques for £3.95 each, or 2 for £8.
They did have 4 packs of kopparberg for £5.05 in the same deal though

right i work for tesco and basically, the products with yellow labels with red borders are on offer, and if you see the any x (x being number) for x amount then you can choose any of the products listed on the label for that price.
So willay the seeded sensation may be 1.00 but the granary might be something like 1.27 so there for you will actually be saving 27p
